        Primavera is a professional project management software tool, which is utilized by project managers, engineers and planners in order to report the progress of any big task, development or venture. Primavera allows for top level planning as well as being ideal for managing any complicated details. This enables project managers, planners, planning controllers and other professionals to have instant access to all the project information require at any time. It also means everyone can be kept updated within one system, reducing duplicate information and keeping everyone in the loop.

        Furthermore, Premavera uses critical path method (CPM) mathematical algorithm to calculate the total project duration. There are some significant terminologies used in project management that are integrated in primavera: -

1. Critical Path: - is the longest path of the project. Any delay to an activity on this path will influence on the overall project finish date.
2. Total float: - is the amount of time an activity can be delayed without impacting the succeeding activity. 
3. Lag: - is a way to delay or accelerate an activity's start or finish date.
4. Relationships type: - finish to start, finish to finish, start to start, start to finish.
5. Predecessor or Successor: - describing the order of activity in sequence. 

        

        Ultimately, primavera is indeed an amazing project management program that is certainly used worldwide, and which helps inside planning, managing and controlling project charges, activities, resources, efficiently and easily. Moreover, many global companies and institutes are using this software package. In addition, it was pleasure and excellent for the opportunity to obtain the primavera course and training that enabled us to get the most out of this excellent project management tool.
